COMMERCIAL AUTOMATION

COMMERCIAL AUTOMATION

With a single touch, you can use music and lights to create the ideal ambiance in every section of your commercial building. To ensure that our consumers never miss the big play, control every TV from a single spot. The options are unlimited when using Gemicates automation.

“Everything that can be automated will be automated”

CONFERENCE ROOM

Almost everything is at your fingertips thanks to an automation system. Gemicates offers a user-friendly touch screen for controlling the space during video conferences, telepresence, and multimedia presentations.

One touch can activate a projector, dim the lights, lower a screen, connect to an office across the world, or display your presentation in an automated conference room. All technological hassles are removed by a Gemicates smart system, allowing you to focus on your work.

1.Before the Meeting

Five minutes before the conference, the temperature is adjusted to its ideal level, and automated shades are drawn to hide the glass walls. The conference audiovisual system switches from standby to active mode and the lights come on.

2.During the Meeting

The lights go down, the projector and projection screen drop from the fall ceiling, the sound system switches to presentation mode, and the intercom is put in DND mode as the presentation is about to start.

3.After the Meeting

Once the room is empty, motion sensors detect no movement. All running systems, including air conditioners, lights, audio and video systems, and projectors, turn off one after the other. The cleaner receives a notification to empty the room, and the shades return to their initial positions.

BUILDING AUTOMATION

Building automation is the process of using a building management system, often known as a building automation system (BAS), to automatically and centrally operate a building's lighting, HVAC, and other systems. Improved occupant comfort, more efficient building system performance, lower energy consumption and running costs, and a longer utility life cycle are the goals of building automation.

You can easily and completely control your area from a single touch screen, keypad, remote, or mobile device by combining your music, video, lights, window treatments, climate, and security. Alternatively, you may program your lights to change automatically at specific times of the day or in response to daylight or occupancy levels.

SMART OFFICE

“Work Smart , Not Hard”

By enhancing business operations, smart technology frees up owners and facility managers to concentrate on effectively managing a profitable business. One “Presentation” button activates the video display and audio, lowers the blackout shades, and dims the lights when presenting to clients from a laptop. A single touch screen, keypad, remote, or mobile device can provide complete and simple control of a room's music, video, lighting, window treatments, networking, and communications.

Automated window treatments minimize glare and maximize employee comfort. Whether you're at home or on the other side of the world, you may monitor things while you're not at work by using a smart device to see cameras or receive warnings. No more wasting time and becoming irritated during face-to-face or video conference meetings, or going over to switch off lights and drop drapes. With centralized control and connected systems, you are able to boost production and provide a competitive edge that customers will notice.

Advantages are
  • Office automation can get many tasks accomplished faster.
  • It eliminates the need for a large staff.
  • Less storage is required to store data.
  • People can update data simultaneously in the event of changes in schedule.

HOSPITALITY

The guest experience at hotels is improved by automation and integrated technology, which is just smart hospitality business. Give visitors a personalized room experience that includes motorized draperies, smart lighting management, and amazing entertainment that is simple to use with a smart smartphone. Visitors can use their smartphones to play music, use the TV to access concierge services, and customize their wake-up sequence by having the draperies open and the TV switch to their preferred station.

After Checkin/Check Out

  • As visitors proceed to their rooms, the PMS system sets the temperature to the perfect setting by initiating a "Occupied" room state upon check-in.
  • The "Welcome" scene is triggered when visitors arrive for the first time: the TV shows a customized greeting welcoming visitors to the room, the lights come on, music begins to play, and the drapes open.
  • A personalized experience offers a distinctive, opulent getaway. Instead of waking up to the blaring sound of an alarm clock or phone call, guests can choose a "Wakeup" scene that slowly opens the draperies and plays music or the news.
  • By automatically shutting down the lights and air conditioning in unoccupied rooms or after guests check out, hoteliers can save electricity.

For efficient guest room controls, hotel automation solutions integrate with a number of other systems within the establishment, such as

  • Lights, air conditioning, television, and draperies are all connected to an extra-low voltage switching system via comfort consoles.
  • Monitoring of room status for energy management according to housekeeping, visitor check-in, occupancy (guest-in, guest-out, sleep mode, etc.).
  • Integration with additional in-room electronic guest room features, such as an easy-to-use electronic safe, an electronic minibar, electronic door locks (for turning on and off energy), and a smart door chime panel (which has indicators like "Do Not Disturb," "Privacy," and "Make-up/Service room").
  • Integration with the "Service Call System," which provides hotel workers with the client's name and room number immediately, guarantees a quick response time when the guest activates the service panel.
  • Reception office, housekeeping, engineering, mini-bar control station, butler control station, security office, and more may all be managed online for guest rooms.

HVAC CONTROL

Smart control of heating, ventilation and cooling makes it easy for you to set the perfect temperature of your business regardless of the season or other environmental conditions. A set-up in a multi-story automated building would have many building automation controllers serving different types of air conditioning and heating equipment.

Programs and an HVAC control system are used to manage the different kinds of HVAC systems in a certain automated building. If the air conditioner is running excessively in an empty space, you may monitor and adjust your thermostats from a mobile device. You can even raise the temperature to make visitors and staff more comfortable. Utilize pre-programmed settings and connectivity with a building automation system to save energy.

SMART RESTAURANT

Use smart technology to give your guests an experience they won't soon forget. Music from various sources and entertainment on TVs from several channels can be readily delivered from a single touch screen. Controlling the audiovisual equipment in a restaurant or sports bar can be easy for all staff members.

You may easily change the lights in your home with a single button press for lunch or supper, or you can have the lights change on their own as your environment changes from day to night without any work on your part. Everything is powered off, doors are locked, and the security system is armed with a single touch screen press at closing time.

INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

By linking the plant, site, facility, and people, our customers may optimize their operations through the enterprise-wide integration of control and information. Through our portfolios of control systems, motor control, and smart devices, we provide industrial automation and control. Together, these three platforms are architected and engineered to assist you in creating the most effective industrial automation system to suit your requirements.

Industrial automation is the use of various control devices, such as PCs, PLCs, and DCS, to give automatic control performance and to have control over various industry operations without requiring a great deal of human participation. Control methods in industries employ a collection of technologies that are applied to achieve the intended performance or output, making automation systems the most crucial for industries.

By implementing new, creative, and integrated technologies and services, industrial automation makes it easier to lower production and design costs while increasing product quality, reliability, and production rate.

Need of Automated Industry

1.To reduce Periodic or Manual checking

Periodically verifying the process variable is required in certain important applications in order to carry out industrial activities. Automatic working conditions are established and periodic or manual operations are reduced by automation technology.

2.To increase the Productivity

By producing output at higher quantities for a given labor input, automating manufacturing and other production processes raises the production rate.

3.Reduce the Production Cost

Human intervention to control the operations is suddenly reduced when using automated machinery and equipment. This lowers the labor cost investment and, consequently, the manufacturing cost.

4.To Improve Product Quality

Repeating the same task over and over again might not always meet quality standards in terms of human labor. By employing real-time hardware control devices, automation equipment may provide consistent and dependable product quality.

5.To increase the Flexibility

With the use of automation equipment, many processes are managed easily without creating a complex environment, especially in industrial processes. User-friendly and enhances safety Industrial automation reduces the complexity of operating the machinery or processes. The operator assumes a supervisory role instead of their previous job as operator.
